A Big First Day for RPS Kindergarteners!

Revere Public Schools welcomed its newest learners as kindergarten students across the district celebrated their very first day of school. With backpacks packed and plenty of excitement — along with a few first-day jitters — students said goodbye to their families and began an exciting new chapter in their educational journey.

Kindergarteners explored their new classrooms, made friends with new classmates and teachers, and learned the routines that will become second nature in the weeks to come. Teachers, administrators, and staff were on hand to offer warm welcomes. For families, it was a milestone morning of proud smiles, hugs, and perhaps a few tears as their little ones took that important step.

It’s the first day of kindergarten, a beginning of learning, friends, discovery, and growth. We are thrilled to welcome our newest students to the RPS family and can’t wait to see all the great things they will do this year. Here are some of our favorite shots from a truly special first day!
