April MMM Honesty & Integrity Celebration

At AC Whelan, our Monthly Morning Meeting (MMM) Team brings our school community together each month to highlight a core value such as Friendship, Respect, Kindness, Growth Mindset, Compassion, Mindfulness, and Honesty & Integrity. Each month begins with a Zoom lesson shared with all classrooms to introduce the value and what it looks and sounds like in action. Throughout the month, staff members observe students who consistently model the look-fors and nominate them to be honored at our celebration.

Today, we proudly celebrated 30 outstanding students from Kindergarten through Grade 5 who were nominated by staff for demonstrating Honesty & Integrity throughout our school community. These students showed what it means to do the right thing even when no one is watching, take responsibility for their actions, and lead with truth and strong character.

To honor their efforts, students participated in our HIT (Honesty & Integrity Trail) Celebration, where they helped decorate our school sidewalk along the back of the building. Using stencils, chalk, and powerful messages, students created a meaningful and lasting display that reflects the importance of honesty, integrity, and positive choices.

Our Honesty & Integrity Celebration highlighted what makes AC Whelan so special: students who lead by example, make thoughtful decisions, and contribute to a safe and respectful school community.
